Kyra Minturn

 Kyraminturn Sedgwick was conceived on August 19th 1965. She is an American actor and producer. Her most famous part is as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, on TNT's crime series The Closer. Sedgwick received an award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson. Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her performance as Johnson and an Emmy Award 2010 for her performance. The series ended on August 13, 2012, following the conclusion of its seventh season. Sedgwick's recurring role of Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also notable. Sedgwick was awarded a Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's roles in other films include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's singles (1992), Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald who was a speech and family therapist and Henry Dwight Sedgwick IV, a venture capitalist. She was born in New York City. Her mother was Jewish, and her father was Episcopalian. She was also of English descent. Sedgwick declares that she is Jewish and has stated that she is a member of Passover seders.
